The Producer’s Procession. The Coach’s Presence.
Hi, I’m Cat. I’m a recovering perfectionist, type-A, over achiever, and former Executive Producer in advertising. I know what it’s like to perform at high levels, manage big teams, and operate in constant urgency. I also know the cost of living that way.
For years, I was rewarded for my ability to do - move fast, problem-solve, hold it all together. I was promoted for my output, not because anyone taught me how to actually lead people. Like so many women, I was expected to figure that part out on my own.
I’ve worked at startups and large companies, in rooms full of women and in rooms dominated by men. I’ve had some incredible bosses - and some very clear examples of what not to do. What I never received was real support for how to lead in a way that felt grounded, supportive, and sustainable - for others or for myself.
Somatic and embodiment work entered my life when I was at my lowest. Burned out. Exhausted. Disconnected. It didn’t just help me cope - it brought me back into connection with my body, my intuition, and my sense of aliveness.
Through this work, I learned how to set boundaries that actually held. How to lead from presence rather than pressure. And how deeply my nervous system - even when I wasn’t outwardly stressed - was impacting the people around me.
I went on to become a certified somatic coach through The Embody Lab, where I gained the tools I wish I’d had as a leader: how to ground before high-stakes moments, notice when I was triggered, and lead in a way that helped others feel safe, steady, and supported.
This work - and the program I’m creating - is the leadership support I wish I’d had.
It’s rooted in the belief that most leadership models follow a traditionally masculine blueprint: push harder, override the body, stay composed at all costs. While that can get results, it often disconnects us from ourselves in the process.
My work helps women reclaim feminine authority - not instead of strength, but alongside it. Balancing groundedness with feeling. Structure with intuition. Power with presence.
Because leadership doesn’t have to feel tight, exhausting, or lonely.
And power doesn’t have to come at the expense of your nervous system.
